I’ve always loved French toast for breakfast but it can be a bit time consuming to make on busy mornings like Christmas morning when there is a lot of hustle and bustle. My make ahead French Toast Bake with Maple Whipped Cream is easy to make and a crowd pleaser.

This delicious recipe only takes me 10 minutes minutes to prepare the day or night before. Yes, 10 minutes! In the morning, pull the dish out of the fridge, pop it into the oven and you’re almost done making breakfast. All you have to left to do is whip up some Maple Whipped Cream and ta-da! Breakfast is done. How nice and easy is that? I love that this dish takes so little prep time and makes such a big impact for breakfast. It makes cooking breakfast for a crowd a breeze!

French Toast Bake with Maple Whipped Cream

I use brioche bread for this recipe but you can use a day old French baguette as well. I prefer brioche because it’s sweeter and I like my French toast sweeter.

The Maple Whipped Cream is a great topper for this French Toast Bake. It adds a little somethin’, somethin’ and I don’t feel like I need to use maple syrup because the whipped cream already has maple syrup in it. YUM!
