Add the brown sugar (and chili powder if making Spicy Candied Bacon) to a mixing bowl. Then dredged each slice of bacon through the brown sugar making sure to thoroughly coat each piece. Place each coated piece of bacon on the foil lined baking sheet so they are not touching. Sprinkle any remaining brown sugar mixture evenly on the pieces of bacon.
Pop the baking sheet with bacon in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Keep your eye on the bacon so it doesn’t burn. Remove the bacon from the oven when done and cool the pieces on parchment paper or a wire rack. They are very sticky when warm but the brown sugar mixture will harden when it cools so they’ll be less sticky. You can definitely eat these pieces of bacon when they are cooled off. Be careful about eating the bacon when it’s too warm or else you may burn your tongue on the hot brown sugar.
