Scoop out the flesh of the avocados and chop into pieces. Add avocado to a mixing bowl.
Cut the limes in half and squirt all the juice of the limes over the chopped avocados pieces. This will keep them from turning brown while chopping the rest of the ingredients.
Take the leaves off the stems from handful of cilantro. Chop until you have about two tablespoons of cilantro. Throw the cilantro into the mixing bowl with the avocado and lime.
Dice about 1/3 of a red onion until you have about two tablespoons. You may have to dice more or less of the red onion depending on how big your onion is. Once diced, throw into the bowl with the avocado mixture.
Grab a potato masher or use a fork to mash and stir all of the ingredients together. Add salt to taste.
